[[accordion title=a Brief History of Pearl Jam]]
The American rock band from Seattle, Washington that broke into mainstream with its debut album, Ten, in 1991. They’re considered one of the key bands of the grunge movement in the early 90s. Over the course of the band's career, its members became noted for their refusal to adhere to the traditional music industry practices, including: refusing to make music videos, give any interviews and engaging in a much-publicized boycott of Ticketmaster. Pearl Jam has outlasted and even outsold many bands in their genre from the alternative rock breakthrough of the early 90s. There’s no wonder they’re considered one of the most influential bands of the decade.
