• The first issue of The Incredible Hulk depicts the Hulk with gray skin, but problems with the printing process forced the publishers to choose another color. They picked green because at the time, it was one of the easiest colors to print consistently.

• The Hulk's alter ego's name was changed from Bruce Banner to David Banner in the TV series starring Lou Ferrigno, because the producer disliked alliterative names.

• The Hulk is said to stand 7 feet tall and weigh 1,040 pounds. He was the second Marvel character (after Spider-Man) to appear on TV in live action.
