[[accordion title=All About SNL]]

“Live from New York, it Saturday Night Live”. The opening monologue to show we’ve come to love.

SNL’s debut came in 1975 and it never looked back.  For anyone that’s been living under a rock that doesn’t know what this show is, it’s a late-night comedy show featuring several short skits, parodies of TV commercials, a live guest band, and a pop-cultural guest host each week. Many of the SNL players have spun-off successful independent comedy, TV, and movie careers such as Will Farrell, Tina Fey, Rob Schneider, etc. So far, Saturday Night Live has won 19 Emmy Awards and been nominated for more than 80. Though the comedy has changed and evolved over the years, the same formula is still there: Make the audience laugh.
